When I was little the most exciting time of the year was the back to school season. I know it sounds weird, but I loved that the start of school brought on a slew of new clothes. And there was nothing more exciting than picking out my first day of school outfit. I can remember all my first day of school outfits since the 3rd grade. Seriously! That’s how special the first day of school was for me. In fact, I can remember what I was wearing on the first day of every job and every special moment in my life. The one dress that has been there every step of the way is the wrap dress.

With quarantine coming to an end in some states, it got me thinking, what am I going to wear on the first day back at work in the office? The first dress that came to mind is this gorgeous green Morgan Dress. First of all, it’s a wrap dress! And this color screams fresh start! And that is what it is going back to work, a fresh start to be excited about.

Let’s talk about the details on this dress. It’s a jersey material and is fully lined which means it doesn’t cling to your body. I absolutely love the faux wrap on this dress. The wrap dress is an iconic dress that has been a wardrobe staple for years. The problem I have is that a traditional wrap dress usually flaps open on me. With the faux wrap on this dress it eliminates anything flapping open or popping out. It’s genius!

The fit of the dress is ideal for all body types.

The ruching around the waist highlights your waist in the most flattering way and is very forgiving. The neckline is equally as flattering as the soft v-neck is tacked closed, so nothing will pop out there either. The dress falls right above my knee, which is a perfect hemlin in the office.

In terms of sizing I am wearing this wrap dress in a 10. I opted to go a size up in the dress as I felt the 8 was a bit clinging on my rear end. The size up isn’t that much larger and it fits me perfectly.

The green color is rich and luxurious and works perfectly with a nude heel or a camel colored heel. I prefer this wrap dress with a standard stiletto heel rather than a block heel. The stiletto heel is feminine, traditional and classic with the silhouette of the dress.
