Whether you are new here or have been around it’s important to note I’m passionate about a few things in life. My work clothes are high on that list. I LOVE my work clothes. The lockdown was hard on me primarily because I couldn’t wear my work clothes. I’ve spent years and years investing in gorgeous clothes for the office and for about 2 years I couldn’t wear them. Shifting my focus to work from home outfits was a huge adjustment. However, I’ve finally figured it out.
My secret is to actually get fully dressed everyday. That means a complete, coordinated outfit with jewelry as well as full hair and makeup. It’s the only way to go and the only way to ensure your work output remains at the same level. I’m a firm believer in your outfit guiding your day and success. When you dress nicely you feel better, hold yourself better and just do better! It’s simple!
My go-to work from home outfit usually involves jeans, however, I know that some people don’t like to torture themselves on a daily basis with jeans. I recently found the most wonderful athleisure pant in the world and have created a few outfits with them too.
However, when working from home, the most important piece of clothing is your top. It’s the one piece of clothing that is visible on a Zoom call and where I dedicate the most effort. In fact, I just wrote a full blog on the best Zoom tops, which you can find here.
