Workwear is a passion of mine. Sounds a little weird because who in their right mind loves work clothes? I do! I’ve always love clothes, but my workwear passion started up when I realized that I spend the majority of my time in it! Pre-pandemic days I would go to the office five days a week and be in casual clothes for two. It just made sense to fall in love with workwear. And more specifically I’ve fallen in love with this work blouse, the Ann Taylor Camp Blouse to be specific!
The camp blouse is one of those tops that looks good on anyone for any occasion. You literally can’t go wrong with it. Ann Taylor has been making this work blouse for at least five years and I’ve been wearing it that long. It’s effortlessly chic and polished. The cut of the blouse is gorgeous, it hangs so nicely on your body. The natural draping is something to admire and appreciate. Trust me this work blouse will change your life!
Ann Taylor Camp Blouse
There is so much to love about the camp blouse. Here are my favorite features:
- Soft collar
- Vneck that is perfectly placed, not to low
- Length – can be worn out or tucked in
- Generous Sizing – I take a medium, but it’s a relaxed medium. This top works pregnant too, just size up.
- Machine washable
Styling The Camp Blouse
The versatility of the Camp Blouse is what hooked me on this. For starters they have just about every basic color you can want as well as seasonal patterns. I actually own five of them and have had them for at least five years. I wear my Camp Blouse mainly for work, it’s the best work blouse around. I pair it with a black ankle pant, heels and a delicate necklace. It always get compliments and I feel great in it. I also wear it on the weekends, mainly at night. When paired with skinny jeans I don’t tuck it, add a heel and a clutch for a night out. It is less office wear or more night out when styled like this.
