Fashion Details:
Blazers are a staple in my closet and have been since my early 20’s. Because there is nothing more classic than a blazer and jeans. In addition, I find myself grabbing a blazer over and over again for work. Also, I can pair it with basically anything and look polished immediately.
I’ve exclusively been a black blazer gal with my favorites being the MM LaFleur Jardigan and the J. Crew Regents Blazer . However, last year I broke the cycle and added the khaki sweater blazer to my collection. As a result, I found myself grabbing that more than the black options in my closet. Which is why I decided to expand my traditional blazer collection last fall. Which led me to add the Parke Blazer to my wardrobe and can’t believe I waited so long.
I added it to incorporate more color into my wardrobe. While it’s not a wild color, it’s a basic color that has been around for years and will continue to be around for years to come. In addition, I truly believe that camel is the new black. You can pair it with most color pallets, such as grays, creams and blacks. Furthermore, it also works well with gold or silver jewelry. The camel colored blazer is a true winner.
This Parke Blazer is a classic style, with one button closure in front and a thin lapel. The details and craftsmanship are exquisite on this camel colored blazer and are well thought out. The details are the reasons I love this blazer.
Two Slit Pockets on the Front
Three Button Detail on the Sleeves
Single Slit in the Back
Rich, Deep Color
Wool Flannel With a Little Bit of Stretch
The options on how to wear this camel colored blazer are infinite as well. By nature, this blazer creates a preppy look. Therefore, it can easily be dressed up to create a chic look as well. I’ve styled this blazer to look more chic by pairing it with all black. A simple black tank (splurge on this one or save on this one) , black denim (my favorite pair, linked, is only $68!) and black shoes (I recently picked up a pair of block heels and they are amazing!) really make this blazer pop!
If you are looking for other ways to style this camel color blazer, I’ve come up with a few for you.
Preppy Classic
To create a preppy look pair this blazer with a blue stripe button down, cuffed dark denim, a statement necklace and pointy toe flats.
Casual Weekend
For the perfect weekend vibe outfit pair this blazer with a white or gray tee, distressed jeans and a street shoe.
Office Ready
Take the blazer to the next level for the office. Pair it over a black fitted dress with a belt and block heels. You’ll look killer for your next meeting.
I’ve pulled some other camel colored blazer options at different price points as well, check them out.
