Whenever someone asks me to describe my style I always say “It’s classic and timeless. I select pieces for my wardrobe that I truly love and will wear for years.” It comes down to my presentation and how I am put together. I always want to look put together, even if I woke up 30 minutes before I head out the door with a toddler in tow. That is why selecting pieces for my wardrobe is a serious task for me. I take pride in my appearance from my hair being done to the clothes I am wearing. It might sound vain, but my personal appearance is important to me.
This year I’m focusing on branching out and finding new brands that encompass my style and approach to the way I dress everyday. While I will continue to shop with my favorite brands I need to switch things up a bit, there is so much out there! And I’m starting to branch out with Talbots.
Now I’ve strolled through a Talbots store before, but I didn’t know much about the brand. So naturally I decided to research it. I’m very conscious of where I spend my money and want the brand to be an all around solid company. Call it the “Power of the Purse,” but where a woman spends money is one of the driving forces in the economy. So not only do I need to love the clothes I need to love what the brand stands for.

Talbots spring collection is full of fresh, bright colors that can easily be carried into cooler summer days. Now that I’m working from home I focus on tops that are Zoom-friendly yet allow me to move and run around at the park with Lizzie after work. This sweater makes me so happy! We all need a little cheer in our lives and the ombre pattern really brings in that cheer. This sweater is ideal for a cooler spring day, but I’m actually looking forward to wearing it in the summer. Pair it with white shorts and a brown sandal and you have a great summer night outfit.

I’ve always loved a paisley pattern, it’s preppy, classic and has major New England vibes! This pink colored paisley print top is so fresh and ideal for spring. I love that it is a tunic length, but can also be tucked in. Making it an ideal top for all body shapes.

There is nothing more classic than a button down blouse. The versatility that it offers makes it a true workhorse in your wardrobe. You can wear it all seasons, as it is great for layering or wearing alone. I love the ruffled collar and pearly button closure on this top.
