Santa Clause has arrived in Chicago and he is staying at the Swissotel in the Santa Suite. We were beyond thrilled to be invited to a preview of the Santa Suite Chicago, it was truly magical. The best part is it’s open to the public starting December 7th.
This year the Santa Suite is decked out in a Swiss Alp theme with over 15 trees each with individual themes. The Suite has several activities for the kiddos including; letter writing, face painting, crafts from Make to Celebrate, a hot chocolate bar and sweet treats.
While the space itself is amazing, the best part of the Santa Suite Chicago is Santa himself. He is straight from the North Pole and has the best “Ho, Ho, Ho” I’ve ever heard. Take my advice, he is the best Santa in the city!
How You Can Visit The Santa Suite
However you get there, visiting the Santa Suite this season has to be on your list. There are a few ways you can visit the Santa Suite this year and all are truly magical.
Santa Days
The best option to bring your kids to is Santa Days. You can enjoy elf-guided tours of the Suite and visit Santa on his chair lift and take as many pictures as you want. You will also enjoy a letter writing station, face painting, a hot chocolate bar and delicious goodies like peppermint puppy chow and red velvet cheesecake.
Tickets are available here and it runs from December 7 – 22 on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm. Tickets cost $15 per person and children under 2 are free.
Après Ski After Dark
An adults only event that includes photo ready cocktails in the Santa Suite. Offered on December 13 and December 20 you can hang out all night without kids. Tickets include one drink with additional drinks available for purchase. You can find tickets here and they are $30 per person.
Pancake and PJ Breakfast with Santa
You’ll have breakfast in Élevé, Swissotel Chicago’s penthouse ballroom. First you’ll enjoy a truly decadent breakfast and then you will get access to the Santa Suite with the man himself! You can purchase tickets for Breakfast with Santa here.
Stay Overnight
Make all your dreams come true and spend the night in an Elf Decorated Room. The room is decked out in holiday decor including your own Christmas tree. Pricing and availability vary and you can find the details here.
