BareMinerals BarePro 16 Hour Coverage Concealer
This is my concealer of choice for blemishes and under the eye. It comes in an easy to use twist up tube that it lightweight and easily fits in your purse. The formula itself it lightweight as well and doesn’t get cakey on your face. I apply it at 7am and its still covering my blemishes when I get home at 6pm. I actually received this product to test out for the blog a few months ago and it’s been a favorite ever since.
Another product that I was sent to test out and I ended up falling in love with it. This mask is now part of my nightly routine. You can choose to apply it after your nightly moisturizer or in place of it. By apply a thin coat to your entire face at night you will wake up feeling relaxed and hydrated. A little goes a long way with this product, so the cost is totally worth it. Why not get soft supple skin while sleeping?
I haven’t yet tried these products, but that’s because it’s still on its way to my house thanks to this sale. I’ve been reading about this brand for sometime now and I finally pulled the trigger. The bigger the hair the smaller you look, right? I love big hair! I have a ton of hair and when it’s full and bouncy it looks better. This product is for all hair types, thick to fine and gives similar results to both. Beautiful voluminous hair that looks like you got a professional blow-out. A bonus benefit is that it smells great. You may just want to use it for the smell!
Let me start by saying I do not wear perfume and I haven’t for years. I feel that perfume sits on me vs. mixing with me and blending with my natural scent. However once in a while I sneak Mike’s Hermes unisex spray. This is the only scent that actually mixes with my body and creates a natural scent. It’s relaxing and citrus smelling and isn’t over bearing. It also smells great on Mike and it actually smell a little different. It blends with your natural scent to create a unique scent for everyone.
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant
Yes $27 for a stick of deodorant is a bit much, but this deodorant is the real deal. I’ve noticed that every couple of years my deodorant stops working. There is nothing worse than being in a professional setting and finding out that your deodorant has stopped working. This has happened to me before and it is mortifying. I’ve tried every brand and every type including prescription and natural deodorants and nothing seemed to work. I found out about Cashmere Mist through a friend and it worked wonders. I can go all day without smelling or worried about smelling. It’s also a great scent that smells feminine and soft.
Drybar Baby Buttercup Blow Dryer
I recently stayed in a hotel for two weeks and opted to use the hotel blow dryer instead of my own. It was the Buttercup Blow Dryer and I was blown away, pun intended, by the end results. I normally use a T3 and love it, however this dryer was truly salon quality. My hair was smooth and completely frizz free after using it. It’s an expensive tool, but you get what you pay for here. My hair is one of my most prized possessions and I want it to look good at all times. This dryer is the first step to obtaining a great head of hair each day.
Tweezerman Pink Perfection Slant
The only pair of tweezers you will need. I’ve been using this brand for over 10 years, thanks to my Mom. They are super sharp and allow me to tweeze my brows perfectly. I’m Italian and have hairy eyebrows, so I need to keep up with them. This pair of tweezers are slanted which allows me to grab those pesky hairs that are barely poking out.
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick
A newer line from Kat Von D and it doesn’t disappoint. The lipstick comes in over 40 colors and three finishes, which gives you plenty of options from which to pick. The formula itself is creme based, lightweight and long lasting. I personally wear the Bow N Arrow color and layer it with a gloss. When the gloss wears off I have a beautiful base that lasts for hours.
Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo
Every girl needs a dry shampoo in her arsenal of hair care products. Unfortunately, I wash my hair everyday. Between working out in the morning and going to work, I can’t miss a day. But sometimes on the weekend I am dying to not wash my hair. It’s a lot of work to do it every morning and I need a break too! The Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo is a great product to use on these days. It removes oils from the roots of my hair and provides a little bit of volume. The smell is average, but the end result is amazing, you would never know I didn’t wash my hair the day before.
