Quince Cashmere Review

You’ve all been fed the social media ads and have heard the hype about Quince Cashmere.  But it is really worth the hype?  I am saving you the time and did the research for you.  I’ve been curious about Quince for a long time and I finally dove head first in a bought a couple items from them to test out.  I have to say the hype is real.  Keeping reading to see why and what you need from Quince.

Quince has three main values that I completed agree with

• Quality shouldn’t be a luxury
• Sustainability is built into everything the brand does
• Affordability, everyone should have access to nice things

The brand uses eco-friendly practices from ethical sourcing to environmentally conscious product methods. Quince sources the finest fibers crafted from the soft undercoat of Mongolian goats, ensuring a level of softness that is unparalleled.  And above all they firmly believe that quality shouldn’t be a luxury. 

I personally have been exhausted with the fact that clothing prices have increased so much the last few years.  While I don’t mind paying for luxury items I do believe an everyday sweater shouldn’t be $200+!  I prefer items in the under $100 range and if we can get under $50 I’m pretty excited! Which is why I’m so excited I finally tried out Quince. 

 

Quince Cashmere

The most popular item Quince is known for is the $50 cashmere sweater.  I do love cashmere so of course I had to try it out.  I’ve owned several cashmere sweaters over the years all varying in quality and cost.  I typically find that the more expensive cashmere is the higher quality it is.  This rule also applies to the Quince Cashmere Sweater.  Overall I thought it was a great sweater for a great price, however I wouldn’t hang my hat on this being high quality lasting my entire life cashmere.  I view this sweater more as a reasonably prices sweater that happens to be cashmere.  Here is what I love about the cashmere sweater:

• Several color options
• Soft material
• Great fit, runs tts and fits like Jcrew
• Great price point for a sweater

At the end of the day I do think Quince takes a cake on affordable cashmere. I would buy the Quince Cashmere Sweater over Everlane and Jcrew.  And I am a huge Everlane cashmere fan, so that is saying a lot! You just can’t beat the price of the Quince Cashmere Sweater. 

 

Quince Mockneck Pull Over

I bought this on a whim because of the price point, its under $50.  It’s technically called the Eco-Knit Milano Stitch Mock Neck Pullover.  That’s kind of a mouth full, however they have serval mock neck options made from different fabrics, which are more expensive. My thoughts on this..LOVE IT!  I actually love it more than the cashmere sweater.  

While the price was right the quality and style is amazing.  Its an easy option to look put together and polished without trying very hard.  I love that the shape is slightly boxy making it ideal for any body shape. I personally took a medium which is my normal size and like the fit.  If you are in between sizes I would size down.  Here is what I love about it

• Pill resistant fabric
• Stylish silhouette 
• Three neutral color options 

Recommendation on Quince

Overall I was super impressed with Quince.  The price is super affordable and the quality is very good.  These are sweaters that you will have for many seasons making your cost per wear just cents!
