Finding the perfect Christmas Day outfit is often a hard task. Usually because I want to look dressed up, but don’t want to be dressed up. I spend a lot of that day on the floor playing with Lizzie and opening presents with family. While dresses and skirts are beautiful, they don’t always work for my lifestyle.
My Christmas look is festive, comfortable and breathable. It’s usually 100+ degrees in the house because of the oven and running around getting things ready. So layers are key on Christmas day. Being able to go from sweating to freezing cold in minutes and comfortable doing so. Also, shoes aren’t that big a deal for me, as we are a shoes-free household. Most likely I wear cute shoes for a picture, but I’m usually traveling in my Nordic Boots and switching out to cozy slippers when I’m around the house.
5 Outfits For Christmas Day
To help you out this holiday season I’m sharing 5 outfits for Christmas with you. From my dressiest looks to my most comfy and cozy cookie eating outfits. What I love about these outfits is the pieces are staples that you most likely already have or can add to your wardrobe and have for multiple seasons. The staples I’m sharing today are my favorite items that I’ve had for years and wear often.
- High Rise Black Denim , which is reasonably priced at $68 and can be worn everyday and are perfect for night.
- Plaid Tops – Over the years I’ve collected many plaid tops, they are great for the holidays and never go out of style. My go to blouse is this one and I picked up this plaid tissue turtleneck this year.
- Tissue Turtlenecks – I own one in just about every color. They are lightweight, perfect for layering and usually under $20.
- Cream Sweater – Any cream sweater is perfect for winter. This year I added this White Zip Sweater to my collection and it’s cozy!
Below you will find my 5 outfits for Christmas day along with sizing details for you.
