Hello Summer! I’ve waited for you for so long and I’m so happy you are here. And in honor of your arrival I have stacked my closet with the most wonderful neutrals for the season. My neutral summer wardrobe is easy and breezy. I’ve selected a neutral pattern so that things are easy to mix and match. Focusing on neutral colors allows me to easily build outfits without much thought in the morning. I may have gone overboard on white tops, but there is nothing I love more then a crisp white top in the summer.

Building a neutral summer wardrobe is easy to do. Stick with colors that are neutral and soft. These are colors that mix well with each other. Neutral colors can be actual colors too, like green, however they should be on the softer side. I wouldn’t choose hunter green as a neutral, but a soft sage green can be neutral. Colors to focus on include:

White (This is the white top I’m wearing)
Blue (These are the navy shorts I’m wearing)
Black
Khaki
Green

In terms of accessories I would stick to brown, like a rich camel or cognac color. These colors blend well, even with black and will keep your outfit looking chic.
