Today I’m sharing a catch all mom post for you featuring my mom must haves. I often find myself taking recommendations on products from blog posts and social media posts of my favorite influencers. I actually find myself shopping that way especially for baby products. If I follow a mom on Instagram and she loves a baby product, you bet I am asking her for a link so I can get it for myself too.
Time is precious, especially when you have kids. And sometimes I don’t have time for trial and error with products. I want something that works instantly for my life. So today I’m helping you out by sharing a few products that have gotten me through the first four months with my daughter Maggie. This post has a little bit of everything, from bottles to books and adorable shoes. These mom must haves will get you through anything.
Mom Must Haves
Water Wipes
Do you know how many wipes you will go through the first year of life? I actually have no idea, however it has to be an outrageous amount! Which means not only are you wiping your baby’s bottom constantly, you are throwing these wipes in the garbage and they don’t magically disappear. They stay around for years! That’s why WaterWipes® is an excellent choice for wipes. WaterWipes® cleans and helps protect sensitive baby skin. They are also 100% biodegradable, compostable and plastic-free. Which means they biodegrade in just 4 weeks!
Boon Products
When it comes to feeding your baby you have to have bottles and you have to wash those bottles. Anything associated with feeding your baby has to be durable, easy to use and look good sitting out. There will always be bottles sitting around the house, there is no way around it. Boon products are exactly what you need around the house from their durable design and aesthetically pleasing looks.
Boon GROOVE Customizable Drying Rack
This drying rack can hold up to 6 bottles, but doesn’t take up a ton of counter space. It’s completely customizable to fit your needs and space requirements. And it is easy to store by folding flat.
Boon NURSH Silicone Pouch Bottle
These bottles are aesthetically pleasing and made of a safe silicone. There is no PVC or BPA in these bottles. They can be sterilized, boiled, frozen and washed by hand or the dishwasher making them an all around great bottle choice.
The First Years Sure Comfort Folding Baby Bather
Small space mommas rejoice, this is the bather for you! The First Years Sure Comfort Folding Baby Bather is easy to use, easy to open and easy to store. The small footprint makes bathing a baby from birth to 15 pounds super simple. The inclined bather comfortably cradles the baby with a no slip seat and raised mesh sides. You can safely bath your baby in the sink or bathtub.
Disney Lullaby
This playlist is music to my ears! The app will have you and your baby relaxed in no time. The Disney Lullaby playlist (available on Apple Music) contains instrumental and soothing renditions of the Disney music catalog to help your baby drift off to sleep. I love to sing to my baby when rocking her and knowing all the words to these Disney classics puts everyone at ease.
Stride Rite Shoes
I’m an older mom so drawing similarities to my childhood and my kids can be a stretch sometimes. When I can find products that were around when I was a kid I want to use them for my kids. And since Stride Rite was founded in 1919 (I’m not that old!) I can easily trust this brand with my kids.
In addition, their shoes are adorable! I chose the Emilia Baby Bootie as my baby’s first pair of shoes. They are ideal for summer as they are made of premium leather and have a sweet floral embroidery detail on the side. I enjoy that the opening is extra wide so there is no struggling to get it on her feet.
Use code BBRITE10 for $10 off your purchase of $70 or more, valid 7/18/22-2/1/23, please note the full disclaimer on the Stride Rite website.
Books By Candlewick Press
You can’t have a baby without having books. Reading is an essential part of having a baby. While it stimulates your baby mind it also provides entertainment for you. A good read for the whole family is “I Am A Baby” written and illustrated by Bob Shea. It’s a humorous take on new parenthood from the babies perspective. The entire family will get a kick out of this book.
My mom must haves has a little bit of everything for every mom out there. Which item did you find the most helpful?
