November means…Christmas content! I know, it’s a bit much and I would normally hold off on posting this stuff, but the early bird gets the worm! Today I’m sharing one of my new favorite holiday traditions which is matching Christmas PJ’s from a new favorite brand, LAKE.
Matching Family Christmas Pajamas with LAKE
Before having kids, matching Christmas PJ’s were not my thing, but now that I have kids I’m all in! I’m really into it for the girls to have matching PJs, but I like to get in on the fun once in a while too. And that is why LAKE (check out their offering) is perfect for the holidays (and year round). They offer plenty of patterns for matching family pj’s with holiday focused prints or holiday theme colors. There is something for everyone.
About LAKE
Now I’ve seen LAKE pjs before and truth be told it’s been from other influencers. And I’m typically cautious when I see influencers raving about products (ironic, I know). However, I can now say they are worth the hype! The pjs are made of 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton, which is insanely comfortable. Besides the coziness here are other reasons why LAKE is such a wonderful brand.
- 100% women-owned and founded by longtime friends Cassandra Cannon and Anne Read Lattimore
- Options for Men, Women and children
- Patterns are hand painted by artists
- Free shipping on orders over $50
- Luxurious pjs that are great gifts
Sizing
Everything I read about LAKE pjs said they would shrink up a bit, mostly in length after the first wash. Based on that I sized as follows.
Adult Women – I went with a large, mainly for the length. I’m 5’9 and have more legs than torso,d an the large fits great. They hit right below my ankle bone and are slightly loose all around.
Kids – I sized up for Lizzie’s set. She is 3 (almost 4) and wears a 5T in most brands like Cat & Jack, Old Navy and Jcrew. I ordered her a 6 and they are perfect. Slightly long, but I’d rather have them longer than shorter.
Baby – Oh baby, this was a hard one! Maggie is a big 6-month-old, she is long and chunky (I love it!). She wears a 12-month or 18-month size in brands like Carter’s, Cat & Jack and Old Navy. I initially ordered a 12-18 month and they were tight! So I went up to a kid 2 and they fit better. They are big right now, but in another month they will be great. The 2 fits a 20-pound kid and Maggie is 18/19 right now, so I went with her weight as the leading factor in selecting the size.
