Madewell Maternity Jeans Review

I’m in the home stretch of pregnancy and I’m dying to get back into my regular jeans, sort of.  Pre-pregnancy I would rotate between 5 pairs of jeans regularly, some of which are Everlane (find my favorites here).  But during pregnancy I have three pairs of jeans, all the same brand and fit, just different washes.  I can confidently say that this pregnancy I was successful in finding the perfect pair of maternity jeans.  My Madewell maternity jeans review  will show why they are a godsend for any pregnant woman!

 

Madewell Maternity Jeans 

Madewell has a couple of styles of maternity jeans, but the pair I love is the Maternity Over The Belly Skinny Jeans.  They are heavenly and stylish!  Not only do they come in multiple shades, but they literally will fit you for your entire pregnancy.  Here is what I love about them.

• Fitted through the hip and thigh – the tighter the better when I’m pregnant!
• Over the belly fit, which allows everything to be tucked in and smoothed out
• Adjustable waistband, which allows you to tighten or expand the waist depending on your belly size.  I’ve been wearing them since I was 16 weeks.
• Several color options; black distressed, lunar (solid black) and  danny (dark denim color) 
• Machine washable and dryer safe, they won’t shrink
• Sizing – they actually run a little big, you can easily size down from your normal size with ease
• Price $138 – sounds pricey, but when you wear them everyday for almost 6 months the cost per wear is super low. 

 

You can buy the Madwell Maternity Jeans at Madewell, Nordstrom or on Poshmark.  I own three pairs and have bought them at all three sites.  They are harder to find on Poshmark and I did feel like I was taking a huge chance, but it worked out nicely.  I love these maternity jeans.  I’ve missed my pre-pregnancy clothes so much and have been happy to have something that fits so well and is stylish for this pregnancy.
