I have to introduce you to my newest beauty obsession, Jones Road Beauty. I’ve been slowly incorporating their products into my daily makeup routine. They recently opened a Chicago store and now I’m fully obsessed! I’m slow to adopt anything new into my routine. I’ve actually been wearing the same makeup for the last 10+ years. So when I make a change it has to be good and impress me. Jones Road Beauty caught my ear for two reasons; it’s a clean beauty line and their founder is the infamous Bobbi Brown.

I was so excited when the Jones Road Beauty team reached out to invite me to their store in Chicago. Its located-on Damen Avenue nestled in between all the great boutiques. The store it is the perfect foot print to showcase all the great products. With the products lined up on tables so you can view it and small stations on the side. I highly suggest taking time to sit with an artist and learn about the products and how to apply them.
I spent one hour with Lisa who is the store manager and she was a wealth of knowledge. She taught me how to apply my miracle balm correctly and it was life changing the way I looked. She walked me through color options that complemented my skin tone and highlighted my features. The team so graciously gifted me a few items and I purchased everything else Lisa showed me. I was blown away by the products!

Products I Use and LOVE
Miracle Balm
Perhaps the most iconic product in the Jones Road lineup, Miracle Balm is a versatile, moisturizing balm that adds a hint of color and a lot of glow. It’s perfect for those no-makeup makeup days, providing a dewy finish that looks natural and fresh. Apply it my warming it up on our hand first, then applying to your cheek area with two fingers. Here is a quick tutorial. It lasts all day and gives the perfect glow. I use the Tawny shade.
Lip and Cheek Stick
This is my savor when traveling. I swipe this stick on my cheeks and lips to give life to my face and rub in with my fingers to give life to my face. Its creamy and easy to use in a rush.
Face Pencil
This multi-purpose pencil is great as a concealer, highlighter, or even a foundation. Its creamy formula blends seamlessly into the skin, making it ideal for touch-ups on the go. I use this mainly for zit coverups vs. large coverage areas.
The Mascara
Once I put this this mascara on in the store and I was hooked. I could see it lengthening my lashes before my eyes. I’ll admit that the curved brush took me a while to get used to, but now I’m a pro. It wears well and stays on all day. And it washes off easily at night.
The Brow Pencil
This life changing product is the GOAT. I grew up in a thin eyebrow era and can’t recover from it. The Brown Pencil naturally fills in my eyebrows and makes them look fuller.
The Bronzer
This is a typical bronzer that gives a sun kissed look when applied to those sun kissed areas on your face. I switched to using this daily from another brand because it’s a clean beauty item. That’s a huge selling point for me. I use the color Tan.
The Lip Tint
My exact words to my make up artist in store were “I don’t want to look like a lady of the night, but I don’t want to look like a corpse” And she found me the perfect shade! I now proudly wear nude rose as my everyday lip color. Its creamy, stays put and makes me look naturally full of life.
The Lip Pencil
I do use the nude rose lip pencil to complement my Lip Tint. I don’t use it every day, but enjoy the way it enhances my lips when I do.
