How To Wear Joggers To The Office
Wearing joggers to the office is 100% acceptable these days. The key on how to wear joggers to the office is styling them so you look professional and polished. Here are my tips to making joggers look office ready.
Tuck In Your Top
Always, always, always tuck in your top. Joggers tend to be more relaxed which means they can look sloppy when left alone. In addition, tucking in your top creates a waist and balances out your look. Play around with the type of tuck you do, it can be a front tuck or a full tuck. Every shirt is different and when the tuck is perfect you will know it. When in doubt go with a front tuck, it never fails you!
Bring Up The Bottoms
A defining feature of a jogger is an elastic band on the ankle. Depending on where the pants hit on your leg you may want to bring up the pants a bit. I like to slightly adjust my pants up on my calf. It can define your leg and make the pants look more stylish.
Add a Third Piece
The third piece to any outfit is a blazer or a little jacket. Adding this piece completes your look. In the office it makes your outfit professional whether you are showing up in person or on Zoom. You can play around with the color and style of the blazer too. I wouldn’t match the color to the jogger color, I would branch out. Pair black joggers with a white blazer or a colorful blazer.
Wear Heels
Always wear heels with your joggers in the office, do not wear flats. Heels instantly dress up anything. Furthermore, they will make your casual outfit dressy. Flats will make the joggers look too casual, including even a pointy toe flat. Heels elongate your legs and will dress up the joggers. I’ve paired my joggers with my Sarah Flint Emma’s. They are a medium heel height and ultra comfy. You can get $50 off with code SARAHFLINT-BAAMYKR
