Some of my most treasured pieces in my wardrobe are my fine jewelry items. I’ve always been into jewelry, even as a kid. I loved rings! I couldn’t get enough of them. Whether I found jewelry in a magazine or saw someone wearing it I had a plan to build my fine jewelry collection when I was older. Today I’m going to share my fine jewelry collection with you and how I obtained it over the years. I’m also sharing different price point options for each category.
Fine Jewelry Collection
A fine jewelry collection doesn’t happen over night. It takes years of careful planning. Please keep in mind I’m in my 40’s and a fine jewelry collection for me may be different than a fine jewelry collection for someone in their 20’s. I’ve taken into account budgets too, offering three price points for each category.
I didn’t create this curated collection overnight. It has taken years of planning and acquiring. Many of the pieces in my fine jewelry collection were bought after I saved for them or as gifts over the years. The majority of them have sentimental value as well. I either bought them to celebrate a major life milestone, like a birthday or as a reward for an accomplishment such as a promotion.
There are four main categories in which you should have a piece of fine jewelry; watches, earrings, bracelets and rings. These are pieces that you can and should wear everyday. I have no problem spending money on an item I am going to wear everyday for years. When you invest in quality pieces to wear everyday the cost per wear is essentially pennies. What I consider fine jewelry in my 20’s is different than that in my 40’s. But you can bet I still have some of the pieces I obtained in my 20’s. They are special to me, still very much in style and something I may pass down to my kids one day.
You can see and shop my full collection below. I’ve provide options for three prices points; splurge, middle of of the road and save. The image is shoppable too, just click on a picture to see the full description.
Watches For a Fine Jewelry Collection
A classic timepiece never goes out of style. I know that the world is focused on smart watches right now, but a classic watch is always going to be in style. I wear my Michele Watch daily and love it. It’s a splurge that I bought myself for a promotion years ago. What I love about this watch is you can switch out the bands. I have a chain link bracelet band on it, but love the leather band options too.
When adding a watch to your fine jewelry collection stick with gold or silver, they are timeless. A chain link band never goes out of style and a square/rectangle face is super chic. Here are some options at all price points.

Earrings
Studs will always be timeless and I firmly believe the bigger the better. I have a few pairs that I cherish deeply. First up are my class sterling silver studs. I like that these can be worn everyday whether it’s to work or the grocery store. Here are my favorites

Next up are pearls. Every girl needs a pair of pearls in her fine jewelry collection. Mine are on the larger side and I bought them from a smaller local jeweler years ago. I wear them for special occasions and when I want to look super polished. With pearls you pay more for larger pearls. I would save for these and get a big pair. Here are a few options for pearls.

Bracelets
Adding a bracelet to your stack creates depth. I typically wear one bracelet, along with my watch daily and add another one for the weekends. I have an office job and type a lot so during the week I don’t like a lot on my wrist. On my wish list for years was a classic David Yurman Cable Bracelet. In my opinion David Yurman is the epitome of classic style.

Rings For a Fine Jewelry Collection
I firmly believe that every woman should wear a diamond ring. And I’m not talking about an engagement ring or a wedding band. I’m talking about the ring that you buy for yourself that you love. You deserve diamonds and you deserve to spoil yourself.
