Does the perfect pair of denim exist? I believe it does and I believe it doesn’t have to be just one pair. You can own several perfect pairs of denim! For a few years now my go to brand for denim has been Everlane. Their denim is priced under $100, they have multiple styles and offer multiple lengths, which is very important to me. That is why I’m so excited to share my Everlane Denim Guide. Right now they are having a HUGE sale offering 20% off their denim with code EVERLANEDENIM20.
Everlane Denim Guide
My main wardrobe staple over the last year has been jeans. And I’ve been on the hunt for a new pair because I’ve worn my current pair into the ground. My current everyday jean is the Everlane Authentic Stretch High-Rise Skinny, I own three pairs and love them! However with skinny jeans on the way out the door I wanted to broaden my horizons and try out another fit. And Everlane has several to offer
About Everlane
If you aren’t familiar with Everlane, I think of them as a grown up Gap. Their brand is simple and to the point. They are focused on taking an ethical approach to clothing, designing quality pieces that will stand the test of time and are committed to radical transparency, which is my favorite part. Their prices are affordable and they list the entire cost to make the item along with the markup. It’s so refreshing to see a brand do this and not rip you off!
From denim to sweaters and everything in between I turn to them for the staples in my closet. Their basics; like button downs, tee shirts and cashmere sweaters are some of the best around and hold up to a frequent use. And you can’t beat their denim, they have something for everyone, as you will see in this Everlane Denim Guide.
In the Everlane Denim Guide I am sharing six styles for you.
To keep things consistent I am showing the jeans with the same white tee and with three shoe options. It’s important to provide a complete apples to apples comparison when shopping for denim. Seeing the different denim styles in the exact same context will give a better sense for the true fit and style.
As a reference I’m 5’9, with longer legs and typically wear a size 30. I always use the sizing chart on brands websites when finding my ideal size. I pick my size off the measurements and use my largest measurement, which is my hips. If my hips measurement falls within the fit measurement on the chart I select that size.
I’m also scoring the denim for you based upon my preferences. Spoiler alert the skinny jeans are my favorites, but there are a couple non-skinny pairs that rank super high as well! Let’s check out each pair!
