5 Easy Weekend Outfits

One of the challenges I have in life is getting dressed on the weekends. I’ve put a ton and time and effort into getting dressed for work over the years and left the weekend dressing go by the wayside. It’s a little sad because weekends are the best and I should look my best too! So I’m putting a little time in now for easy weekend outfits.

Winter is especially hard because I get one cozy sweater and I want to live in it. Right now my quilted pullover is on heavy rotation. Along with my teddy sweater that is super soft and cozy (and also on sale, in three colors). But I am getting bored with these looks as I wear them all the time

I’m going back to the drawing board to find a few looks that I love and will wear on the weekends. Taking the time to plan these outfits out ahead of time is a life saver. I now know I have options and know they work for my lifestyle. I hope my 5 easy weekend outfits give you inspiration as well.

Current Style

My current lifestyle is what I would define as on the go comfort/style. One minute I’m on the floor playing with Lizzie and the next we are running out the door to do errands. Time is precious and I don’t want to waste it trying to figure out what to wear. My clothes get a workout when I’m wearing them, so I need them to be durable. My go-to outfits have the following characteristics:

Machine washable (I hate dry cleaning things)

Durable (there is a lot of grabbing and slobber going on these days)

Soft neutrals that can be worn for at least two season (I’m trying hard to get away from owning all black)

Classic denim that will last for years (I get a pair of jeans and wear them to death)

Shoes that are cute and comfy (I walk everywhere so they have to keep up)
