I’m in my homemaker era right now. While life can be overwhelming I actually love planning and cooking meals for my family. I have such great childhood memories of my mom cooking some of my favorite meals. And what I love even more is introducing those meals to my family. I think we can all remember eating something from your grandma when you were little. Now my kids can eat a “MeMaw Recipe” too. And today I’m sharing my mom’s pork kabobs!
Pork Kabob Marinade
This might be one of the easiest recipes I have that actually turns out to be a fancy meal. Making the pork kabobs is pretty straightforward. I use the following ingredients for my kabobs:
- Pork
- Red Pepper
- Yellow Pepper
- Onion
- Cherry Tomatoes
I assemble them in an alternating pattern by placing them on a stick.
The marinade is where the magic happens though! Like all good mom recipes there are no measurements, everything is to taste. I would go easy on the vinegar and heavy on the Worcestershire sauce. Make sure it tastes good and then bast it onto the kabobs. Be generous with the marinade and get all sides of the kabob.
- Olive Oil
- White Vinegar
- Lemon Juice
- Worcestershire sauce
- Minced Garlic
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- Grated Onion
You can make these ahead and let marinade for up to 24 hours if you want to. Grilled them until the pork is done and served. I usually add rice or risotto as a side. Its a family favorite and tastes delicious for left over too!
