Can you believe Memorial Day Weekend has come and gone? I can’t! And I still can’t believe that quarantine is still in effect in Chicago. I’ve slowly grown tired of my loungwear because I’ve worn it on repeat for months straight. I miss my clothes and I’m ready to start dressing up again. By dressing up I mean wearing jeans, a top and even a jacket. I know I’m getting a little wild. But I’m craving my old clothes.
I also started to venture out a bit more and make an occasional Target run. And let me tell you going to Target is the new dinner and drinks for me! I get fully dressed and even put on lipstick. It’s fun, but a little sad at the same time. As the world slowly starts to reopen I know we can all use a little outfit inspiration. Check out my 5 easy outfits for spring to wear when emerging from quarantine and after!
5 Easy Outfits For Spring
Outfit #1
Who doesn’t love a text tee? You can find this Weekend Tee at J.Crew. These jeans are my favorite for the spring and summer. What I love about them is the lighter wash, distressed hem and leg and the price, only $70! I’ve been living in these. And the white tweed jacket is from Shop One Third, they have amazing pieces that are truly timeless. I wear it all year round and you can read more about it here! Oh and the white sandals are a must. They are a perfect part of my easy outfits for spring.
Outfit #2
I can’t wait to wear this outfit to the office on a casual Friday. The colors and textures blend together perfectly to create a classic, chic look. The pink top is the ideal soft pink color and the washed black jeans are only $70! I’ve owned the sweater blazer for three years now and it never disappoints. Round this look out with a pointy toe flat and your ready to go!
Outfit #3
There is nothing more classic than jeans and a black tee! These jeans are my favorite ones, featured throughout this whole post. The black tee is from MM LaFleur. They just released a line of casual tees and they are top notch! The cotton is super soft, yet structured. They pivoted nicely to the casual side and I’m all for it! Again pointy toe flats for the win on this outfit. And how can I forget the accessories. The gold necklace is from Revelle , the watch is Michele, and the sunglasses are sold out, sorry! But I found this equally fun pair under $15!
Outfit #4
Ok there is something more classic…it’s jeans, a white tee and white sneakers. This outfit is on repeat all spring and summer long! I finally jumped on the white leather sneaker bandwagon and I’m so happy I did. They remind me of childhood. And I love incorporating them into these easy outfits for spring.
Outfit #5
Fresh florals for spring and summer are a must! This light weight sweatshirt has a puff sleeve detail and is under $20. The washed black jeans are only $70 and have the best distressed crop hem on them. I love these slingbacks. The heel low and the elastic band on the shoes isn’t overly tight, so they don’t cut into your heel.
