Clean beauty has been on the top of my mind since I was pregnant with Lizzie. I’ve put in a lot of research into finding brands and products I trust and like to use in the clean beauty space. This has paid off because when I got pregnant again I was able to keep the same beauty routine. I became interested in clean beauty when I realized that the U.S. hasn’t changed their criteria for skincare products since the 1970s!
So for 50 years no one has taken a look at the products we are putting on our body and ultimately seeping into our systems. I decided to take matters into my own hands and do my own research to find products that are safe for me to use. About DIME Beauty
DIME Beauty is a Clean Beauty company and I’m all for that. I didn’t concentrate on skincare in my younger years and I wish I did. Now that I’m older I’m more in tune with what I’m putting in and on my body. The U.S. doesn’t regulate skincare closely so you have to do the research yourself.
The DIME Beauty website does a great job at educating you. They list out all the ingredients that AREN’T in their products and why they are harmful. This is a great resource for anyone interested in the ingredients in their skincare products. Their products are free from known hormone disruptors, carcinogens and certain parabens that are harmful.
Another positive for DIME Beauty is their pricing. All their products are completely affordable. Skincare should be accessible to everyone at a reasonable price and DIME Beauty has created a great skincare line for everyone.
DIME Beauty Products
I’ve been using several of their products for a while now and wanted to share a mini review of each of them with you today. My reviews are 100% honest and my own. Eyelash Boost Serum
My favorite product from DIME is the Eyelash Boost Serum. It actually works! You can read my full in-depth review in this post here. However, my mini review is that after 60 days you will see results. My lashes were mainly thicker and slightly longer and I loved the results. I also loved that there are no harsh ingredients in this. I’m putting it on my eyes and I’ve very cautious of that area and felt safe using this.
Eyebrow Boosting Gel
I am currently in my testing period with this product. However, it is made with the same technology and ingredients as the Eyelash Boost. So I am hoping for the same results. I actually apply this at night as it’s easier for me to remember to do it, however you can apply it in the day too. Applying it in the day allows you to shape your eyebrows a bit and brush them up.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum
I use the Hyaluronic Acid Serum every morning to add in extra moisture and firmness to my skin each morning. It’s the first thing I apply and is buildable with moisturizer and makeup without feeling heavy. The serum doesn’t necessarily add a glow to your face, but provides other visible benefits like firmness, plumpness and hydration. This was one of my first DIME Beauty purchases and I’m hooked!
Hyper Super Glow
This is DIME Beauty’s vitamin C serum, which is packed full of antioxidants. I probably have to give this product a better shot, but I wasn’t a huge fan of it for daily use. I prefer to use the Hyaluronic Acid Serum daily as I saw more immediate results. Reviews on the website are glowing for this product, with people loving their skin and shine after using it. I can’t 100% recommend it right now due to my low usage of the product.
Whipped Exfoliating Mask
I love a good mask, but sometimes I don’t have the time for them. The DIME Beauty Exfoliating Mask is quick and easy to use, it takes five minutes total and actually works! My skin is refreshed and smooth after using the mask. This mask cleans off the dead skin cells and lets a fresh layer come to the top. I use it about two times a week for a fresh face. If you are new to masks I recommend this one as its easy to use and you will actually see results.
Volume Mascara
If you are looking for a volumizing mascara then this is for you. The formula is ultra sensitive on the eyes. I typically find that volumizing formulas are thick and overly clumpy. This goes on pretty thin and doesn’t clump. I find that it isn’t 100% buildable though. So the first coat you put on has to be done carefully and you can’t reapply later in the day. However it stays full all day and is easy to remove with a gentle soap at night.
