Fashion Details:
Hello friends! Yesterday was AMAZING! It was so nice out in Chicago, that I didn’t need my puffy coat to go on a walk. Pretty sure it might snow this weekend though, so I’m not sure if the warm weather is here to stay or not. Warm weather puts me in the mood to wear my favorite spring print….leopard prints! I can’t get enough of it right now. I’m starting to think that leopard prints are the new neutral.
When you think of neutrals you immediately think beige, black, grey and white. Very basic colors that can be mixed and matched with any other colors, patterns or textures. For a leopard print you can pair with beige, black, grey and white…so wouldn’t that make leopard the new neutral? I think so! Leopard is the one animal print that has been around for years and has no intention of going away.
I bet each of you have at least one leopard print item in your closet, right? Leopard print has been a strong neutral in my wardrobe since college and I have no intention of getting ride of it. I have multiple leopard print shoes because they are easy to throw on with a neutral outfit for a pop of fun. My recent style find is a leopard print sweater and I’ve woven it into my wardrobe. In fact, I’m working on a full leopard print style guide for you guys.
Needless to say you are going to see a ton of leopard prints from me coming up here and on Instagram. Did you know that you can also shop all my looks in one place? Follow me on the LIKEtoKNOW it app and get all the details from all my posts in one place. You can find me here. If you need a quick how-to for that app you can read my full post on how to use it.
So back to leopard prints. I’ve pulled several of my favorite leopard items for you guys, including the sweater coat I’m wearing. I just can’t get enough. I’m off to enjoy the last full week of March and cross my fingers that warm weather is almost here to stay! Oh wait, I forgot to tell you about these loafers I’m wearing. They are less than $30, super comfy and come in 5 colors that are perfect for spring. They also have a pointy toe version (leopard print included!) which is just as adorable. I may buy a couple pairs!

This is the cardigan that started my leopard love this season. I’ll be doing a full post with it soon showing you how to wear it 3 different ways (for work, weekend and date night). It’s a bit oversized so I got it in an xs (would normally take a small). Grab it now!!
Love this classic leopard print, its not to wild (pun intended) and looks super sophisticated when paired with black skinny pants and pointy toe flats.
A leopard heart, I don’t need to say anything else. This is adorable!
You can wear these all summer long. The print is mainly covered by your foot, but I love how it peaks out just a bit.

J. Crew has been making the Tippi Sweater forever mainly because it’s a classic and everyone loves it. I love the subtle detail of the leopard collar.
Wearing an full leopard dress does take a bit of confidence, but this classic wrap dress is the perfect dress to do it in. Pair it with a solid black heel and minimal jewelry.

While I don’t have an Apple Watch, I do have a Michele Watch and love that you can change out the band. It makes the watch more versatile. Add a pop of leopard on your wrist for fun!
This is the perfect top to wear on the weekends. You can layer it with my favorite sweater blazer LINK on a chilly spring day.
Adding a subtle touch of leopard in the office is totally acceptable. Wear an all black dress (like this one LINK) and pair them with these heels. They are fun yet office appropriate.
Loafers are so on trend right now. Why not spice up your wardrobe with a leopard print pair?
