It was Father’s Day weekend, and in our house, we celebrate all weekend long. One of our many celebrations was at Culver’s; it’s a family favorite and a place where everyone can get something they love!  It’s the perfect family-friendly restaurant to celebrate any Dad on Father’s Day.  That’s why we choose to celebrate Father’s Day at Culver’s this year.

Culver’s is a family tradition; it’s our spot!  We literally search for a Culver’s when traveling.  In my opinion, it’s better than a fast-food chain because the food is delicious and the service is top-notch.  Everything at Culver’s is made-to-order, meaning your food isn’t cooked until after you order it.  It comes to your table hot off the grill.

Culver’s became a family favorite from our many road trips.  Sometimes you need a place to sit down and relax, where you know the food is going to be good.  I love that each location offers the same menu and friendly service.  Your order and the staff bring your food right to your table whether you are sitting inside or outside.  Depending on the weather, we enjoy sitting in both spots. 

 

The Menu 

Now let’s talk about the menu.  They literally have something for everyone. In my family, we all love burgers, especially Culver’s ButterBurgers.  Do you know what makes them so good?  It’s the fresh meat that is pressed and sealed to give you a steak taste with every bite.  And it’s the lightly toasted, lightly buttered bun that provides that creamy taste.

You can order your ButterBurger any way you like it, which is great in our family because everyone wants something different.  Lizzie takes her with cheese only.  While I like mine with cheese, lettuce and tomato and Mike takes his with everything.

While Culver’s is known for their ButterBurgers I’m a huge fan of the snack-worthy sides they offer.  We usually get a few sides and snack on them throughout our meal.   Our favorites include:

• Crinkle Fries – Each crinkle is golden brown and crispy.  You can tell they are cooked to order because they are so hot when they come to your table.  I highly suggest you add a cup of cheese to your order to dip your fries in.

• Pretzel Bites with Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Sauce – Crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle, these bites melt in your mouth.  And the cheese sauce adds an extra bite of deliciousness. 

• Wisconsin Cheese Curds – Did you even go to Culver’s if you didn’t get cheese curds?  They are made with yellow and white cheddar cheese, which always keeps us guessing with each bite.

• Frozen Custard – We keep it simple with either vanilla or chocolate; however, they also offer a flavor of the day. It’s so smooth and so creamy you can’t go wrong with a classic flavor. You can get your Frozen Custard in a dish, cake cone, or waffle cone.
