Best Spring Shoes for 2021

I’ve got spring fever, this sunshine is amazing!  Being in Chicago the weather is completely unpredictable.  I need to have boots on hand in case it snows and cute flats for when temps reach 60.  So even if it’s not consistent outside, it’s time to shop for spring shoes.   Which is why I’m keeping my eyes peeled for the best spring shoes around.  The ones that let your ankles breath and see daylight again.  After a long winter of thick socks and warm boots, my bare skin is dying to see daylight!

Spring Sneakers

The spring shoes that stole my heart this year are these adorable leopard sneakers.  They incorporate everything I love right now.  Leopard print, comfy and stylish shoes and a nod to white sneakers.  I will be wearing these all spring…and summer and fall.  They are hard to get your hands on as they sell out frequently.  However they get restocked pretty often, so keep checking online for them.  I personally checked a couple times a week for a while.  Yes, I knew I would love them that much!

Spring Loafers

I’m also in love with loafers right now.  Like a classic suede or leather slip on that goes with everything.  Loafers make me feel totally put together, even if I’m not actually put together.  In addition, they are a timeless look and a shoe that will never go out of style.  I’ve bought cheaper ones at Target in years past and they just aren’t comfortable.  So this year I spent a little bit more and picked up the M. Gemi Driver.

I’ve been an M. Gemi fan for a long time.  I own one of their original pointy toe flats and have worn them into the ground over the years.  So a refresh was in order!  I am in LOVE with the Felize Link in tan.  They look great online, but they are amazing in person.  The leather smell fresh out of the box is delicious.  The shoes are buttery soft and fit like a glove.  While they call the color tan, I would say its more of a soft coral that traditional tan, but they are gorgeous! 

They suggest going up a half a size on the website, however I went with my actual size and I’m glad I did.  With your true size they are snug on the foot, but feel comfortable.  Going up a half size up will allow for a looser fit immediately.  I personally want a snug fit for shoes because I don’t want them to slip off.
