It seems like we all have a lot of time on our hands right now. I’m taking it as a good thing though and using this time to really define my skincare routine. You can read about my full skincare routine here. I have a lot of time inside my house right now so I can experiment with different products without the fear of them reacting weird on my skin.
Over the last couple of years I have started to focus on implementing clean beauty into my products. It’s been a challenge, but I’ve been exploring more Beauty Counter items and love them. They are really paving the way for clean beauty. Did you know that the FDA hasn’t changed their skin care regulations since the 70’s? While the US bans 30 ingredients in your skin care products over in Europe they ban 1,328. That’s a big difference! Beauty Counter is committed to changing this and making skincare safe for everyone.

About twice a year Beauty Counter offers a sale and this is the time of year for it. They are offering 10% off everything, which is a huge deal since it never goes on sale. So today I am sharing all the Beauty Counter products I currently use and love as well as sharing the new items I picked up during the sale.
Beauty Countercontrol Clear Pore Cleanser – This one has tiny microbeads in it to exfoliate your skin as you wash. A little goes a long way with this facewash. It is clear, but it foams up a little and creates a thick wash when worked into your face. In summary, it cleans my face and leaves it feeling smooth.
Beauty Counter Counter + No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil – I never knew the amazing benefits of facial oil until I started using it. I use my oil at night, but have been told to use it in the morning. As a result, my skin is brighter and has a radiant glow after using this a week.
Beauty Counter Counter + No. 2 Plumping Facial Oil – I’ve used this and found that is didn’t work on me, however I’m highlighting the other two oils and wanted to point out that they have this one too. If you are curious to try it, I would suggesting getting this sample kit it lets you test out each facial oil for a great prices
Beauty Counter Counter + No. 3 Balancing Facial Oil – I use this facial oil around the same time every month 🙂 When my hormones fluctuate I use this nightly to bring balance to my face. It calms down any irritations and restores my skins normal feel and texture. I don’t use this every night, but rather two or three nights a month.
Glow and Go Mini Set – All the facial oils in a min size. This is a great way to test out all the facial oils before buying a regular size of each.
Beauty Counter Overnight Resurfacing Peel – This is a mini facelift in a bottle. I recently picked it up, after long debating it and I wish I got it sooner. All I need is two pumps at night on a fresh face. I smear it on my face and let it soak in for 3-5 minutes. After that, I apply all my other moisturizers. Overnight it works to correct your skin and give it a fresh glow. Consequently, I wake up with even skin and slightly tighter skin. They recommend using it 3 times a week. I’d love to use it every day though!
Beauty Counter Rejuvenating Eye Cream – This was my first Beauty Counter purchase several years ago. The gentle formula of the cream made it ideal for my changing skin. The cream is lightweight and rubs into the skin easily. In addition, it has caffeine in it which helps reduce puffiness and get rid of fine lines.
Counter + Charcoal Face Mask – I had a sample of this and was literally scraping the inside of the package to get every ounce out. In ten minutes this mask draws out all the junk from my pores. I love that you can see it working. While the mask goes from black to grey as it hardens you can see the impurities coming out of your pores.
Countertime Tripetide Radiance Serum – Designed to increase skin’s firmness and reduce fine lines, it does so without any harsh chemicals. The main ingredient is Bakuchiol. Which has been shown to provide skin-care results that are comparable to retinol—without harmful side effects. I stopped using retinol when I got pregnant and decided to never use it again, it’s just to harsh for me.
