A while back I posted some Arm Candy on Instagram and the reaction was insane. I received so many direct messages and comments about that post I decided to write a dedicated blog post about it! Arm Candy is all about dressing up your wrists and showing your personal style. So often we turn to necklaces or earrings to define our style and forget about our wrists. To be sure you see all the Arm Candy, be sure to follow me on Pinterest and Instagram too.
I have to admit I’ve been wearing the same arm candy for years now, never really taking a detour from it, until now. My go to arm candy is a Michele Watch and a David Yurman bracelet. While they are expensive choices, I didn’t go out and buy these overnight. I dreamed of them, saved for them and then purchased them when the time was right. I wear them every day because I truly love them and feel like they are part of my signature style, which is feminine, classic and chic.
Recently I’ve started to incorporate other pieces with my arm candy to switch things up. I tend to get stuck in a rut sometimes, but try to switch things up to keep life fun and fresh.
Wrist Scarf
My new favorite piece is the arm scarf, its a relatively inexpensive way to dress up your arm and add a pop of color. You can style it any way you like, I prefer to wrap it and tie it in a knot. Check out how to do it on my Instagram tutorial. You can also take off and tie it to your purse if it starts to get in the way of things.
Watches
As I mentioned earlier my Michele Watch is my go to for a timepiece. It’s classic and chic, but once and a while I do switch things ups. I recently starting mixing in my JORD Watch, which is made from wood. It’s a unique twist for a minimalist stylish piece. You can see my full review on the piece here.
Bracelets
The final piece of arm candy I incorporate into my everyday style is the bracelet. I’m a bit of a bracelet junkie. I tend to buy a bunch, but rarely wear them 🙂 So I’m going through my stash and falling back in love with these pieces. I tend to prefer dainty bracelets that I can layer and mix and match.
My army candy recipe is rather simple, a watch, a bracelet and a scarf. You can wear as many of each as you want, however I recommend only one watch 🙂 I’ve selected some killer pieces to mix and match to create your own arm candy. Have fun and let your personal style shine through!
