Airstream Row 30A Florida

 

Nestled on the side of 30A right along the main square in Seaside Florida is Airstream Row.  A unique collection of old airstreams operating as food trucks. There are several options that will fill you up for lunch or dinner or cool you off on a hot summer day.  Born in the early 2000’s Airstream Row 20A Florida is now a fixture in Seaside Florida.  

Seaside Florida in 30A 

Seaside Florida is a quaint little town alongside County Road 30A.  The town ofSeaside is where the Truman Show was filmed and it’s as picture perfect as it sounds.  It was a town that was purposely designed to be walkable and accessible to all.  The main square sits on a crescent shaped lawn adorn with shops and restaurants, a school and the cutest post office you will ever see.  Seaside Florida has a super small town feel, where you know everyone and can walk or bike anywhere. On the edge of the square is where Airstream Row.

 

Airstream Row 30A Florida

Airstream Row on 30A had its first food truck that was Frost Bites.  Frost Bites is a shaved ice stand.  The original owner, Case Cooper was close to loosing his snack business in the mid-1990’s and came up with the idea to open it up in an old Airstream.  He was the first to open on Airstream Row.  Soon after he opened his shop others joined him and Airstream Row on 30A was born. Today the food selection is vast, featuring tasty treats to hearty meals. Here are the current offerings:

If you are eating lunch, grab a bench and sit and enjoy your meal.  It’s a great area that is covered with trees offering shade on on hot summer days.  Airstream Row is located across the street from the beach and several other restaurants.  Its a casual spot that’s great for little kids.  We enjoyed hot dogs from Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs and they were delicious!
